Funny Life Quotes

What's life without a bit of humor? Boring that's what. These life quotes are not meant to be taken seriously, they are meant to be enjoyed and shared with friends for a laugh. Life quotes are generally serious, meaningful, and preachy, these ones are just plain silly. But, I don't know about you but I need more silliness in my life, and these quotes, while completely inapplicable as pertains to the real world give me just that, silliness. Silliness is the foundation for a happy life, quotes like this are just what everyone needs, a little help to lighten up. Work, school, finances, family, these things all stress us out and we are left googling life quotes to make us fell better, and what better thing to find than a video of life quotes that make us smile? Laughter is like a medicine for the soul and we all know that we would do better to over-medicate than under-medicate when it comes to our souls. I know I'm not very good at keeping my soul medicated but the funny life quotes help, I love to find new and thought invoking life quotes too, but I usually prefer the funny and useless to the meaningful and guilt invoking.
My life is constantly in chaos, I never know when the stress is going to be too much and get to me. Life quotes and the lie are a way to not only lift my outlook on life but also distract me from what's going on in the real world. Sometimes though life quotes aren't very helpful. They can even make things worse, because of this I tend to be careful about what life quotes I read/listen to. Movies are another way of de-stressing, but they are also kind of hit-and-miss risk. Some movies just make you feel worse about your life. Then again, you can look at just about anything and find a way to make it depressing, so it's really more about your attitude than about what movie you watched. Which is really taking you in circles because you need to be in at least an OK mood when you watch a movie which you're watching to lighten your mood. Ironic is it not? But I digress. Life quotes are useful whether or not they're funny but the funny ones are the best because they lighten your mood without the possibility of making you feel like a failure.

Wise Life Quotes

The wisdom behind these quotes is fairly obvious, and yet we never seem to remember to follow the life quotes we know to be wise. I, for one, never let go of my grudges, rarely apologize, and definitely don't love what I've got,  I simply wait for life to change so that I can when really it should be the other way around. Life quotes are there for a reason, to help guide us through the harder times of life, and yet we sit idly by and watch so many moments pass us by because we're too busy holding a grudge to remember those life quotes on our refrigerator magnets, coffee mugs, and posters at home. Life doesn't change unless you make it, you can't win the lottery unless you buy a ticket, you can't fall in love unless you meet new people, you can't get a job unless you fill out an application. I sit at home complaining about how my life sucks, but what do I do? I sit on my couch and watch TV. I don't go online and look for jobs, I don't go out and try to meet new people, I don't even spend time with the people I live with most days. I just watch fictitious people, living their fictitious lives, and wishing my life was as interesting as theirs.  Life quotes are there to remind us to be present in our lives, not the ones made up by people to entertain us. There is a reason all of these people have said such meaningful things, and it's not because they wanted to sound like Gandhi, it's because they knew we would need guidance at some point in our lives, and the gave us that in the form of life quotes, which we just post on our Facebook wall and forget. We ought to be following these life quotes, but instead we just go back to our old habits after we hear them. Maybe we contemplate them for a minute, an hour, maybe even a day, but in a month we will not even remember that life quote that we found in that book we started reading. We know these life quotes are true but we ignore them and they seem to go away, but they don't. Just like ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away, ignoring insights in any form including life quotes does not make the insights go away. Every once in a while, as we drift off to sleep, we'll remember those quotes and wonder why it is they we pushed them to the back of our minds, but before we can make ourselves do anything about it we a re in dreamland.

Meaningful Life Quotes

The life Quotes are totally cheesy but at the same time they are so true. Life quotes tend to incite one of two reactions in people; either they make you reevaluate life (at least for a moment) or they make you roll your eyes and think think "do people really like hearing all of these life quotes?" The answer is, oddly enough, yes. They think that if the quote these things enough times that maybe that will make them a better person, or something like that. But the reality is, no matter how many times someone repeats these life quotes, it will not make them a better person, you actually have to make an effort toward being better, not just sounding better.

I personally tend to hate hearing/reading these life quotes, they just make me feel as though someone does not approve of the way I live my life. But maybe you fell motivated to change when you hear them, or maybe you just think they are something to say when people are irritating you with their complete lack of optimism. I am a pessimist through and through so I have heard it all, and I sometimes want to shove the life quotes in the faces of the people who tell them to me and tell them to take their own advice before giving it to other people. But I don't because I know that that would just make matters worse. So I begrudgingly listen to them as they shove their cliché life quotes down my throat. And I smile and continue on like nothing ever happened.

Life quotes are something people put in cards, like for birthdays, weddings, sick people, that sort of stuff, I personally do not like the "inspirational" life quotes in my cards, I prefer jokes, something to make me smile, as opposed to some quote that will just make me feel insignificant, or something to that effect. But now I sound like some jerk who refuses to listen to anyone else's opinion or point of view, which isn't true (usually). So I guess I'll explain, I don't really mind the life quotes when they are filled with good intention, I just hate it when they are a way of trying to control me.

In summary, I don't like life quotes, but, to each his or her own. I will not condemn nor condone people who use life quotes generically, I prefer to judge people based on themselves not the groups they're in. So, yeah, I'm indifferent towards the life quotes themselves, and the people who use them I tolerate based on each ones own unique qualities.
